You will get no argument from me that the dynamics
of an individual horse herd is quite complicated. The other interesting
thing is that different herds have different dynamics, probably caused by the
personalities of the horses in the herd.
It makes sense if you consider horses to be
intellegent, adaptable and capable of learning. They are not robots that
are preprogramed at the factory. Many years ago it was proven that even
rather primative flat worms were capable of learning.
