Re: [RC] Grain Storage Containers - Truman PrevattSportack has a great container. It comes it two sizes - one stores about 80 pounds. It's shorther brother probably stores about 40. I saw the small one at the local State Line tack. It was not in the horse dept but the pet food dept. The one I have (the larger) is about 14 inches by 14 inches by about 3 1/2 feet high with a dandy screw off lid. Works great in the horse trailer.Truman Aaron Turnage wrote: I am looking for a new option for grain storage. I currently use a rubbermaid container and while that works, its just not ideal for me. First, I board my horse so need to store any grain/beet pulp in containers in my horse trailer. I had been storing a complete feed (Manna Senior) in a rubbermaid that fit under the saddle rack in my tack room. I have a 2-horse slant-load. I have since decided that I have too much stuff in the tack area and want to move feed stuffs into the first stall of my trailer since I only have one horse. -- “Many people consider the things government does for them to be social progress but they regard the things government does for others as socialism.” Earl Warren =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
