Re: [RC] FEI/AERC Sanctioned Rides - Jim & Drin BeckerBesides, somebody from the AERC organization needs to stand up to the FEI people and tell them that if we want to feed our horses in the vet line, to butt out. Karen / Jim I have ridden the Fort Howe's FEI/AERC ride a couple times now as an AERC rider only and have never had any hassle over feeding horses while waiting in line , or heard of anyone else getting hassled , of course at FH's you are knee deep in grass anyway :-) It is one of the most efficient run rides I have ever been to , lots of parking room where no one is cramped , timers , and pulse takers right on the ball and easy to find . Steph's ride at Owyhee is also a well run dual sanctioned ride , riders were feeding in the vet lines and lots of efficient timers and pulse takers , great camping spots with lots of room and no long waits at either of these rides , I have waited allot longer in just AERC sanctioned rides than in either of these two rides . There are no "second class citizens" at either of these rides , come and see :-) Drin Becker Mtn Region =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
