Re: [RC] LQ or camper? - heidiI think a big question to answer is how often you will go camping without the horses. The camper + BP is much more versatile in this respect, but if you only ever camp with horses (like me) then I think a GN is the better solution. The other aspect of having a GN with LQ is that the tow vehicle is then free to be demated and driven around once you get there, without having to pack up your camp and take your house with you. Very nice if you have someone crewing for you who wants to drive to outchecks, or if you are at a multiday and need to send somebody to town for a gallon of milk. There are also times when I ride and hubby does not, and he takes the truck out to take ride photos. You're right--it all boils down to how often you are apt to want to go camp without pulling a horsetrailer. For us it is rare, and most of the few times that we do, we are going somewhere that the GN fits in fine anyway.
