Re: [RC] rain in LA area - Lynne GlazerThat's all we need here, gators. Please keep 'em in your bayous, ok? :-)When I lived in your "LA", rain was a fact of life--at least here it doesn't feel "as cold" as when it isn't raining but still humid there! Thinking I'll get me one of those big mucker carts with fat tires, though pushing the traditional wheelbarrow is cheap fitness--my chiro is happy to hear that I quickly consider my body position before lifting or pushing any of this stuff. Hard though--new truck tires or a new cart? Those carts cost $200ish! Tires more! I can't believe the mileage out of the factory original Michelins on this Dodge--82,000+. I need them now though. Anyone else gotten that kind of mileage? Previous high was in the 60K range. Maybe I'll spend the extra to get Michelins again instead of Costco brand. Lynne testing the odds by running with the wb and muck boots anyway. So what if one sucks off? Nobody here to watch and giggle, the advantage of living down a mucky dirt road, no unannounced visitors On Jan 9, 2005, at 11:32 AM, Ibiteraaarr@xxxxxxx wrote: Don't I feel stupid :)?? But I'll be glad to send you some of the gators we've got down here. This is Cajun country and there's a surplus amount of all things swampy. I grew up in Mandeville, and after a particularly bad rain during a particularly wet season, we had gators wash up out of a local swamp. They were chasing people's cats across the front yards. Quite a sight. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
