I don't consider the " V no climb" very safe to use in a small area like 
a stall.  I had wood stalls with 30 ft runs with the V wire since it was 
horse safe. Several years ago a mare with a 4 day old foal rolled in her 
run during the night and got both of her hind shoes caught in the wire. 
The wire went under the back of the shoes all the way to the nail. She 
died with her hind legs stuck up in the air and I had a baby to hand raise.

In a stall I would use wood half way up and then wire above that for 
ventilation. No legs thru the pipe. When they kick they hit wood and 
when they roll, nothing to get caught on.
