While
riding I've seen elk, bear, deer, pigs, burros, peacock, camels (wild?), wild
horses, tumbleweeds (moving), llamas, ostrich (those are really really scary),
sea lions, capybara (sp?) the funny pig/rodent things in S. America. The only
really dicey moment I had was when an elk jumped down off a logging road cut
bank, Kruschev did a 180, left me on the ground, just as the elk jumped onto the
road and straddled me before he jumped down the embankment. (I can still see and
smell his hairy elk belly).
