[RC] pommel pack question - JonniI use the velcro attachments, and run them through the rings on my Bighorn, and pull the pack as snug and close to the rings as possible. (did this with the English saddle too). When the straps pull the pack as close to the saddle as possible, then velcroed down, it kind of "suspends" the pack above the withers / neck. It does not sit right on the horse. Then, I have some shoestring loops I tie on my Y breast collar, to then connect the rings on the front of the pack, down low to, which eliminates bounce / flop of the pack. Hope that description helps. Jonni =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
