[RC] Vertigo/dizzy/ motion sickness in the dark - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Skyla slstewart@xxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I would love to hear what people use to prevent or help getting vertigo at night. I have been in the saddle longer, ridden in the dark for years, and NEVER got "helium head" like I did at the end of our 100 mile ride. I didn't get nausea at all, just felt "higher then a kite", and could only ride at a walk. What could I have done wrong to cause this? I was not overly tired. More water, or elytes maybe? Maybe more food? I wouldn't mind doing a 100 again, but not if I can't figure out why the vertigo. I am not a pill taker, my stomach gets too sensitive. I am very easy on the Aleve, which is the only pain meds I can take. I just know that there was some very simple thing I must have left out, and need some help figuring it out.
