[RC] Over bent? - katswig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ok, from the saddle, how can you tell over bent.

Generally speaking, a horse is over bent if the highest point of its neck
is not the poll, but rather the crest.  So...from the saddle...if you can't
see the top of the horse's head right between the ears, your horse is over
bent.

If you want to see a picture of what it looks like, just look through just
about any magazine that has pictures of show horses (including _Dressage
Today_) as almost all the horses shown will be over bent, including both
the horses shown on the lower portion of both these web pages:
