Yup! I was lucky enough to have my aunt marry Bob Brislawn's son, 
Emmett. :) I used to pine away seeing the pictures they would send me 
growing up back east and horseless, while my cousin had all those 
lovely Spanish Mustangs right outside her door. Now I have two myself, 
both with San Domingo in their pedigrees. :)

The drawings by Robert Lougheed are spot on of Bob Brislawn. And San 
Domingo is not bad either. :) Though the events are fictional and take 
place earlier then either the horse or the man lived. Here is a photo 
of Marguerite Henry with Bob on the left. It looks like he was giving 
her the huge hat he usually wore.
