Re: [RC] gooseneck v bumperpull - mjjackson

Denise,
If you have 1/2 ton pickup, I would highly recommend aluminum or steel frame
and aluminum skin, they are about equal in weight. The gooseneck is heavier
because of the area in front. With a bumper pull you can also compensate,by
using a equalizer hitch or eqivilant. The lighter you can go the better.
I am aware of a manufacturer that has one 2940 dry weight and 320 lbs.
tongue weight.
If you are interested, I can get you the full information.

Hello, anybody out there care to offer an opinion and/or discuss the pro's
and cons of a gooseneck v. bumperpull with a 1/2 ton pickup? I could use
some experienced commentary. Thanks!
