Re: [RC] Frog, Golden Stallion and others - rides2farHorse Trap. Yes, I remember that title, and I *think* I read Silver Birch. Must have been from the downtown public library. I didn't get to read those the multiple times I did the ones from my school. I recall one with a chestnut named "Twinkle" that I liked, but don't recall the title. I think of The Horsemasters every time I clean a stall and think of the instructor jumping on their case for the tiniest bit left behind...because it would make them more concientious later. I was determined to have the *cleanest* stall when I was a kid. Read a newer one lately called "The Team" that was very well done. O.K. one more...what about "Pony Duet"? Oh yeah, and Josie got her middle name from the horse book "Shannon". All I remember about that was that the horse was loose fully saddled for a week or two and got his rear hoof stuck in a stirrup. I think of that when a horse is lost at a ride. :-( To keep this endurance related...when I was about 14 I got what I thought was a kid's book for my little sister off the mark down rack and it was called "100 milers". It was photographs...I think of Tevis maybe? I can't believe it's gone. My mom must have gotten rid of it. It was long gone before I ever did my first endurance ride. Was that done by anyone we know?
