Re: [RC] gooseneck v bumperpull - Paul LatiolaisOne important piece of advice:DON'T! 1/2 ton pick ups are not suited for hauling. If you MUST haul, then a light weight two-horse (2-axle) is advised. 1/2 ton trucks do not have good enough braking power, even with trailer brakes. I used to use a 1/2 ton until I had a couple of close calls that were not my fault, although they would have been legally, since 1/2 tons don't have effective braking for hauling. -paul On Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at 12:52 PM, Ridecamp Guest wrote: Please Reply to: Denise dgilseth@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
