RE: [RC] "natural" as in Natural Balance - Karen StandeferI know Gene well. He does believe in ensuring the pastern axis is correctly balanced. His trim will do just that IF applied correctly. At the AERC convention this year he was a speaker. Part of his demonstration was to show a broken back pastern axis and explain why it is not desirable. I agree that his video is excellent. I also agree that not many farriers understand how to correctly apply the trim or his shoes. I do believe that Ed was asking about barefoot trimming that is known as "The Natural Trim" and not referring to Gene's trimming method which is known as "Natural Balance". Karen Please Reply to: Ray O'Donohue rno2m@xxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== I took the original question to be asking for a comparison between Strasser and Gene Ovenick's Natural Balance method. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
