The whole reason people can instantly bring to mind the names of the influential mixed source horses is just because they're the exceptions rather than the rule. :) Its all a *little* scary to me. Sure, I can appreciate the scientific aspect of actually being able to do it and it is amazing at what can be achieved these days.... Lysane, This is also how I feel. I think it's a marvelous thing from a purely scentific viewpoint. I just think it's limited in it's practical value, as well as questionable in many aspects. My statement about cost vs unwanted pets on the pet cloning subject is just the tip of the iceberg. I have a whole lot of emotional response to that concept, and was trying to limit my post. I think what really gets me is that clones are totally separate individuals.
