[RC] re: overnight stays - Cindy CollinsWhen I've traveled with horses between California and Wyoming and to various western rides, I've always just stayed at fairgrounds. Almost any town over 3,000 people has one. You can often turn out in the entire arena for exercise and there are usually stalls you can put your horse in for the night, at the very least bucking chutes make fine stalls. There's water and often electricity. Most of the time it's free, but occasionally there's a small fee. I always bring a chain and lock for the stall door. Sometimes there are nice bathrooms and showers, too. Cindy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
