Found out later that those who had called ahead and asked if they could camp with a horse were turned down. Goes to show...easier to get forgiveness than permission. >g< It made it a lot easier to use commercial places since you didn't feel like you were inconveniencing people and we could stop whenever we felt like it instead of trying to make the next planned stop.
