Re: [RC] Chicken Chase - rides2far@xxxxxxxxLooks like the weather is going to be gorgeous this weekend for the Chicken Chase Pioneer ride. High 60s and mixed sun and clouds if you can believe the forecast. This is a great ride with 3 days of 50s (ok, one of those is a 55) and a couple days of 25s. If you're looking for something to do this weekend, come on out to SouthernIndiana and chase some chickens! Amy puts on a great ride! Ahh, the curse of too many great rides! It's also Soperton Weekend (Million Pines). The absolute social event of the season. :-) Kaboot's had his one year vacation, been doing great in training for 8 weeks, lost the maternity look and now has his "Spring Do" (butchered endurance clip...Hard to be neat on a moving target!). I feel giddy just looking out there at a horse that looks ready to ride for a change. Makes me happy when he rolls after a workout and there's a dirty area the shape of a saddle pad on him again. :-)) We're hoping our old guys will keep going long enough for us to actually "train" the young ones before we spring them on the world. So far, so good! :-) Angie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
