I have started buying on ebay.  Getting pay pal was so easy to do and many sellers state they either prefer paypal/some say that they will only take pay pal..  I don't know, does ridecamp offer paypal account setup?  If it does, I think I'd request the purchaser to use pay pal.  It is free.  And easy for buyer and seller.  

 

 I just got home from hearing Dan HIcks and his HOt licks....So good. Endurance relation?... He sang a song about wanting to get out into the open spaces and ride.

This may seem like a dumb question, but when advertising stuff in the Ridecamp classifieds, what is the best way to facilitate getting payment if you don't have a PayPal account?

Do ship the stuff when you get a check (and it has cleared) or ask for a money order, or what?  Does the buyer trust you enough to send payment before they have the merchandise?

Just wondering what most of you do..... I've got some stuff to sell - saddles, bits, bridles, halters, etc. but don't know how I should handle the money aspect.

Feeling kinda silly, but I truly don't know how I should go about it.
