Second, it could be that *because* your saddle fits so well she's really striding out and getting more movement in the rear than before. Finally, I've noticed that the pad seems to wick the dirt out to the edge of the pad and then dry and be crusty there. That's why I quit using booties, the dirt was staying under the wieght bearing area wheras with my pad the dirt works out to the edge. Maybe if you hose the pad off really well after each ride that might help?
