Re: [RC] ariat half chaps for terrains - Barbara McCraryWould something like Snow-Seal work? I used to use that on leather backpacking boots. Rub the wax in with hands, then blow-dry with a hair dryer. The heat melts the wax and drives it into the leather fibers. Then I put on some more wax and let it air dry.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Sutliff" <mtnriderII@xxxxxxxxx> To: "Karen Williams" <kc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 1:15 PM Subject: Re: [RC] ariat half chaps for terrains Any hiking store like REI will have short gaiters and they should work with the Terrains. My question is-Now that my waterproof Terrains are no longer waterproof what is the best way to rewaterproof them. They are less than a year old & very comfortable but my feet are wet here in the Pacific Northwest! I sprayed them twice and hope that will work. I'll let you know. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
