Angie, I am short and I am sure my calves are
bigger than yours! I have been able to wear the Ariat chaps in size small with
no problems. I love them! They have changed the design somewhat and they fit
even better if that is possible. I tried the Velcro ones and they always slipped
down.
My chaps have been in mud, ( I HATE when I have to
go first and not my horse!), toted by dogs, buried and left out in the
sprinklers. The zippers are the big toothed, plastic ones so they don't rust or
get stuck. I'll bet you can even electrolyte them if you really think that is
necessary. ;) I wouldn't give them beetpulp though, they might
stretch.
