Re: [RC] RE:My Take on Aladinn - heidiPlease Reply to: patty pattypeck85@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Sandy Skinner's double Aladinn mare, "Strikes Comment" went 4455 miles with one pull. Many of these miles were 100's and ridden competitively. She was not a big horse, but well built. Patty Again, you will find successes in almost any line. But what one looks for in selecting prospects is lines that are consistent. When there are scads of foals by a given stallion, and only a few that start in the sport are successful, that doesn't take anything away from the successes of the individuals, but it SHOULD tell one something about the desirability of selecting prospects from that line. Keep in mind also that NO horse has ALL good genes or ALL bad genes. Even a poor horse will throw some decent offspring, given enough opportunities, and even a good horse will throw some poor offspring.
