Re: [RC] My take on Aladinn - Chris PausOf course, everyone has different experiences, but my Aladdin granddaughter and her daughter and granddaughter have extremely hard black hooves. One has very big feet, the other two have feet neither too big nor too small for their size. The mare I'm getting ready to start in endurance and CTR has such great feet that my farrier is telling me NOT to shoe her, even though he is not a barefoot fan! He said she's got the thickest hoof walls he's ever seen on a horse. I ride her all over on gravel roads, 15 or more miles of rocky trail, etc. and her feet are like steel.
My stallion is pure polish, WitezII on the bottom, a son of Sambor..he has light colored feet, but they are good and don't chip up, have nice hoof walls and soles. He had a racing career and retired very sound with great feet, legs and back. He's now 22 and very healthy and strong.
All these horses have excellent dispositions.
I'm not trying to change your mind. Everyone has their likes and dislikes in horses and that's Ok. Difference makes the world go round. I just dont' want people to think that all Aladdinn bred horses have bad hooves or that Polish bred are crazy.
