Hey Angie, Big Horn now has multiple trees! The tree with full quarter horse bars has a 7 inch gullet, and the tree with semi-quarter horse bars has a 6.25 inch gullet. Very big difference in fit. I don't know if there are more than those two trees. It gets very confusing because not all dealers fully understand the different tree sizes or which tree comes in which models (and I think most models can be purchased in more than one tree size but you have to special request it, which further confuses people, because only the model number is stamped on the saddle itself, not the tree size). It helps to talk to a knowledgeable dealer. I got mine from Corry Clinton of Horses Dacor, very helful, good prices and she seems to really know the models. Her email addy is corry AT horsesdacor DOT com Be warned, though, that the wider tree also has a wider twist in the seat. That's why I'll soon be selling this Big Horn, when my new Desoto is ready. :) -- Glenda R.
