My mare had her five way and West Nile slightly over 3 weeks ago....she has
been
developing a goose-egg size lump about 3" below injection site, and not
really her
typical ravenous self (leaving hay overnight).....so is going back into vet
tomorrow....
very hard to tell....!

One other mare had really stiff neck for two days, other mare (the hardy
mustang), not
a twinge...!

Hi,
The barn I board at has set up the vet visit for spring shots just five
days before my first ride of the season.  Is that generally enough time
before riding a 25 mile event?  One of the shots is the West Nile and
my mare has a history of being ouchy for a few days.  Hmmm, I think I'm
talking myself into rescheduling... Any opinions?
