Re: [RC] [RC] Anyone know of a property for sale? - Mary Ann Spencer
Getting outside of the major cities in E TX and OK,
you will find similar places. Be aware that many places in the south have
'dry' areas and you have to drive a distance to get alcoholic beverages,
etc. Not many tack stores in the boonies either. Thank god for Ebay
and the 'net. mas

property for sale?
Try Northeastern Alabama (I am looking too, moving this
fall and live in Ga.) For that price you can find land
and home --East of lake Gunthersville to the Ga. border Gadsen,
Huntvilles, Scottsboro, Ft. Payne , Valley head. There are some trails in
the area. See Archives about "Alabama Trails" Yellow River Recreation ara
has some. Walls of Jerico -just opened, someone sent me a list ,if you
have a fax I could send it.Pigeion Mtn in Georgia..lots of other
areas. Then in more rurual areas of Tenn. Ga, Alabama are in
that price range and Florida of course has nice trails and that
price outside of major cities-- but better be ready for
evacuation... Try searching "horsefarms" in those areas, or "land for
sale" and also add city names. I bought topo mapes
and look at those too. Metro areas in Se are in the 10000$ acre and
up (into the 30,000's +) --You have to get an hour or more outside fo
Atlanta to get it under 10,000 acre roughly ... Smaller cities and
around them a cheaper, towns even cheaper, more expensive in nicer areas
and interstates. Also check before buying, I have found lots of RR
tracks or airports in the cheaper land, and flood plain means lots of bugs
and gnats and mysquitos in the south-- and I mean
lots.....
