Re: [RC] Books - kazevedoHi Melissa!I'm a part-newbie myself (no 50s yet under my belt, but LOTS of studying and riding), and am starting to read a few endurance books myself. I haven't read many endurance books so I can't compare this one to others, but I have to say that I am very very pleased with Donna Snyder-Smith's book: The Complete Guide to Endurance Riding and Competition. She includes everything from picking a good endurance prospect, fitting saddles, feeding, crewing, conditioning, and much more... and I *especially* like what she has to say about how to become a balanced rider, and how to help train and condition your horse so that it can be a strong, well-balanced competitor. I have learned that I have a LOT to work on to make my horse and I a better team, and one that can last for years together. I also think that one doesn't necessarily have to be a newbie to get a lot out of Donna Snyder-Smith's book! :)Katie On Mar 29, 2005, at 3:11 PM, Melissa Alexander wrote: I'm drooling over horse books and videos today.
