Another little factor is Rearend ratio for towing/the default standard in PU trucks has become the "Highway" package for fuel mileage and what is actually needed for towing is like a 4/10 ratio Rearend or similar each make has a heavy duty Rearend ratio and a HWY gear ratio. So a special order may be in order regardless if the truck has a so called "TOWING PACKAGE."
