RE: [RC] BIO DIESEL - Adam and JannelleWe haven't done a ton of research about bio diesel but from what I understand, it has potential BUT I have heard that most of it is still more expensive than diesel. As much as I want to be environmentally friendly, my pocketbook comes first. Sooo, we're going used veggie oil first. I understand there are various bios diesels that range from 10-100% veggie oil. The more veggie oil, the thicker it is so with a larger percentage, either it has to be heated (which is what our tank is going to do) or it has to have additives that thin it out. For the gentleman wanting to know more, a couple of months ago there were several e-mails on this thread. You might search the archives. We purchased our from Greasel and they have a website www.greasel.com. Adam will finish installing ours tomorrow and we're very excited about it's potential.
