I like Toklat or 100% wool felt for conditioning, which I machine wash on 
regular after each use or so, and a good German sheepskin AP (but w/ the 
sheepskin only along the top) for competition, which I machine wash with 
leather therapy and/or murphys oil soap.

The Dixie Midnight pad made one of my horses's back sore, so I pretty much 
stick to the natural pads.
