I'm delighted with my Tipperary too, but I wouldn't dream of ruining it's 
rather nice look (for a helmet) by pasting a big ugly visor on it.  What's 
wrong with some  sunglasses instead?  (Even better protection from twigs in 
the eye.)

Also, on a more serious note, I seem to recall reading somewhere that the 
unbendable big visors can be dangerous to one's neck if one lands on it in a 
fall....
