Sara, come on out and do the Competitive Trail Rides.
Join ECTRA (or not)and experience a different dimension of distance riding.  
There are tons of CTR's in your area and down the coast a little. CTR's are a 
blast and IMHO feel they
tend to level the playing field a little if you don't desire to top ten. We 
have awesome people, great prizes and wonderful
food at most rides.
