Unfortunately, I use a Mac now and am having problems. Do any of you have any suggestions either software wise or for another gps that will synch with a Mac. My son would be more than happy to relieve me of the old Garmin to use it as a back up GPS on his sailboat. For myself, it is a bit bulky, and frankly rather more complicated than I need. I'd like to be able to map the trails that I use here (my software synchronisation problem) and to be able to know how far and how fast I have been going. I don't really need to know how to get from Boston to Las Vegas. In fact, MapSource is of marginal use to me as the data that they have on Egypt is pretty sketchy. Any suggestions? You might be able to use Virtual PC on your Mac to run the software, but that's pretty slow. The National Geographic map programs have Mac versions, and they link to most Garmin GPS's. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
