Graniteville was the home of the Graniteville Gallop endurance ride and Lawton Johnston's farm. I wondered when I heard about it if there was livestock in the area that couldn't be evacuated quickly. Anybody know if his place was sold & herd dispersed? I think there's lots of QH farms around there aren't there? P.S. My daughter read your post and announced "Another super hero was just born".
