[RC] Mud and Wood Chips - k s swigartDot Wiggins said: For those that don't have their own trees to chip, try contaacting tree trimmers in the area. They often have more chips than they can dispose of easily you can get for a good price. Here in southern california (which is, after all, where/why this discussion got started); wood chips can be had for free from tree trimmers in the area...since otherwise, these people will have to pay to dispose of them. And you don't have to worry about black walnut (since it doesn't grow here), but you DO have to worry about oleander...you definitely want to make sure it doesn't contain any of that. The most common component is eucalyptus, since those trees need trimming ALL the time (and if they don't get trimmed, they shed branches or just plain fall down, which then needs to be cleaned up and disoposed of). kat Orange County, Calif. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
