I wrote this last night in false celebration of the foot of snow we still have 
in Reno.  This is with all you DVE riders in mind!

Trotting through the snow
On a winter ride
Forecast called for sunny
Think the weatherman lied

I can't feel my nose
My hands are frozen shut
Got frostbite on my toes
Only thing warm's my butt

Oh, trotting on, trotting on
Trotting down the trail
Endurance riders are never called
Pampered, fragile or frail

Trotting on, trotting on
Trotting down the trail
Finish is to win so can't stop now
49 more miles or fail
