I've been feeding my horses about a 5-pound coffee can each of rehydrated beet pulp pellets for several apparently good reasons. They love it. My question is: how much beet pulp should I eventually feed them? They are both worked regularly as limited distance horses (an Arab, 14-3, 850 lbs.; and a Saddlebred, 15.3, 950 - 1000 lbs.). In addition they get large flakes of bermuda and small flakes of alfalfa twice daily. And it's cold here. Suggestions? Many thanks.
