[RC] Qualifications for Mentors - Dana B.Truman wrote: "As far a weeding out "bad" mentors - that's would be a good problem to have since right now we don't have any."
I have to tell you, after reading these posts on mentors I feel truly blessed to live in the West Region. We have mentors out our ears here, if you just look about a bit and ask. I met "my" mentor here on Ridecamp (our own Lucy Trumbull, of Tevis webcast fame). Many others have been oh so helpful to me, some of whom I have ridden with, on this and other lists. Every time I go to a local staging area I bump into endurance folks who are always willing to help, and the rides are positively bursting with them. Granted, living in Tevis country is a definite advantage. But I thought maybe it was about time I thanked all the experienced riders in No. California who are "out there" and always willing to help. Thanks guys, you are super!!!!! Dana Baldwin
