Well, good, I am still paying off the last of the familys mendical bills,(down from 26-6 now)yeah! And sure hate to run to the doctor!!! I only go for stitches!!!!! LOL But after hearing about everyones knee surgeries on ridecamp this last year, ya' all got me paranoid after hearing that grating sound. That and having a horse who had a knee injury who now has arthritis in it , I started eyeing thir MSN and stuff and started thinking , maybe I should be doing something else. ---I want ot ride till I die!!!!
Well, maybe I coud drive minis's, on a cart when I am in my upper 90's.ON the other hand with 4 kids, I should get some grandchildren , and at least one must carry the "horse crazy gene"!!!!!! Laurie

About 15-20 years ago - I am now 49 - I had the same sound - it gave me the
creeps. I went to the orthopedist thinking he would surely suggest surgery.
He flexed my knees and listened to the sound. He asked me if there was any
pain - which there wasn't. And he said - no lie - "If it ain't broke, don't fix
it". I almost fell off the table. He said that I might eventually need some
type of procedure but if there was no real pain he didn't recommend it. I
still don't have any pain but I do have VERY noisy knees.
