No, it's Kolly-fourn-yah. That's a
long A in the first syllable :-)) Ah, not eh, nor oh. Despite
the heavy accent, he's mastered English quite nicely I think.
My young female cousin is attending
college in Raleigh, NC and is interested in getting into endurance. She
had a shetland pony and then a 'cow cutter' (her mom's term not mine).
We both grew up in the south and although I'd take her out myself, I
live in "kelly-fourn-yah" as our new governator says so the 'commute' is not
very practical. It's probably been four years since she's ridden but
she's a pretty responsible young lady. BTW, she's putting herself
through college so she'd probably be willing to work some in exchange for
riding.
