Just like I've never been to your place and seen your set-up (but hopefully this year!!) :-) So take it all with a grain of salt (and always get Maryanne's opinion!!:) Just a thought, why don't you invite a few of the top riders over to do the BH? It would be an adventure for them I'm sure. I think Robert Ribley rode a few guys through Tevis a few years ago. It might be nice to do a bit of x-cultural adventurism in these trying times. I'd invite them to Oreana, but I don't think there's room in the pasture for their tent!! ;-) johnt John: I've been begging riders to come to BH for years. Actually, many top riders rode the BH when it was twice the site of the ROC. I'm sure they'll be glad to tell you what it is like. If y'all want to come out this year, our rocky mountain sage, Frank Solano, will have to be the guide cause I'm riding the XP on that date this year. However, Frank is 100% capable of guiding on this trail. I am going to be working hard on GPS way points, maps and narratives of the trail over the next couple of years. The snow won't be off the trail until late June or early July, so I have a limited window this year before the ride.
