[RC] Garmin product comparisons: Geko 201, Forerunner 201, and NEWForetrek 201! - sharon1359I won't be in the position to buy one anytime soon, nor do I necessarily NEED to have one, but I do like to keep a running "wish list" for my honey to peruse at his leisure. ;) After all, Karen C. has provided us with a GREAT example of why it can be important to have base camp marked on (and be carrying) your GPS!! Which of these three units would y'all find most useful? I like the wristband style of the Forerunner and Foretrek... I like the breadcrumb-trail capabilities of the Geko and Foretrek... I like the pacing features of the Forerunner. Which leaves me not knowing which unit would be best for my wishlist! Any input? Those of you who have the Forerunner: how useful is the mapping feature? Garmin says it's a lot less robust than the Geko and Foretrek have, but is it useful ENOUGH?
