Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

Have an old leather welding jacket that we need
softened to at least be semi-usable as my husband has
an upcoming welding project.
It is old enough that the seams have not been done in
any kind of thread...it is actually stapled together! 


Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I guess we
could clean it with saddle soap and then add some
Aussie coat cream or whatever to soften the leather. 
What do you all suggest?
