[RC] Ansur Saddles - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I had a few questions about the Ansur saddle, specifically the Lewis and Clark
model. My Mom and I do Endurance and my Mom is wanting to buy the Lewis and
Clark saddle. She has had trouble with saddles fitting her horse. The horse
has a forward saddle position, and is slightly down hill. She has been using a
friends Safari saddle, with a wedge pad and has the best luck so far with this
type of saddle . The saddle sits on the horse better than the other saddles
she has tried, and with the stirrups positioned back a bit, she is not hitting
the elbows of her horse. She likes the air channel model, but would like to
know if anyone has done much distance riding with a channel-less model? Does
the lack of air channel cause problems with heat or heat welts?

Thanks for the help!
Megan
