RE: [RC] Amenities at rides - Vicki AustinYou can always take fruit (fresh and packaged), nuts, summer sausage (these are not refrigerated), chips and dip (the kind not refigerated), trail mix , cookies, dinner bread, rolls, unopened soy milk (the kind not refrigerated), bottled juices, canned meat and crackers.............the list goes on. I go to a lot of pot luck things so I use my imagination. --- David LeBlanc <dleblanc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Deanna German said:Being a camper without refrigeration, I've yet tofigure outa way to contribute to a potluck and not putpeople indanger! Any ideas?? (There always seem to beenoughwatermelons and they aren't always in season anyway.)Things like pasta in a box are tasty, won't spoil and quick to prepare. We like the "Near East" stuff.Other than that, I'm pretty much happy that thereare rides to attend! Me, too - something that's important to me, and sometimes keeps us away from rides is if we have a hard time getting our trailer in without risking taking off the plumbing. Nice trails, preferably well marked, are important, as is enough water on the trail. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
