When I told them I had just been kicked in the head by a horse, the doctor was quiet for a moment while he stared at me. I had blood streaming down my face from the gash in my eyebrow. My face was swollen and I was covered in manure.

Then with concern in his voice he asked:
" Do you want some pain meds?  We have really good pain meds here..."
