[RC] Jack Russells - jufaWe have the longer legged Parsens type and she is the delight of our house!. We were carefull to see mother and father before picking a pup and spent a couple of hours with the parents and pups before deciding on her. I had heard and seen too many horror stories not to check out everything I could. Lizzie will chase a cat but only as long as they run then she has no idea of harming them....now squirrels are a whole different story! (but then they are considered rodents aren't they?) She does like to bark at one neighbor thru the woods when he comes home but the barking collar takes care of that (even with dead batteries in it)...and no she doesnt wear the collar on any regular basis. She goes about everywhere with us and has since the day she came home and most kids should have her manners in public. She can be left on a tie or in a trailer or in the house and has never done destruction, more then I can say for the "quiet" basset hound. I believe
that a lot of the reputation comes from lack of training, lack of space and lack of daily, hourly human contact....they are not for everyone. Good luck if you get one ,just do your homework.
