[RC] Non traditional/Endurance Mule - LyndaChelseI have been bringing my mule along in Endurance and so far...she has really impressed me with her ease in handling every sort of terrain and situation. On our 2nd 50 mile ride (East Mojave Scenic) she averaged 9mph...a steady effortless pace, I don't think she even sweated. She doesn't care if the horses go nuts, or gallop past, she seems to know that we will soon pass them when they poop out, (and She's only just 5.) We've done 250 LD miles and working on 50's and and I haven't seen her tired yet. She doesn't waste energy, is strong, courteous and takes care of herself (and me.) I don't know why more people don't use mules, especially for the longer and multi-day rides. They seem so well suited...if you can put up with their Prima Donna attitudes. I Love my mule. __________________________________________________________________ New! Unlimited Netscape Internet Service.
